Question Just Reached Yak's Bend. Now...

Now I need a bigger sword. Im still stuck with a long sword 9-12, no bonuses.

I also have the sword with all the bonuses vs charr.

Is there any good drop, or am I better buying the one from the crafter?

BTW, Yak's Bend area is awsome !!! wow.

In my honest opinion, crafting your own weapon isn't worth it. Either wait for a good drop or get one from a collector. That's how I got all my weapons I've used in the game.

By now you should have a few thousand gold..
I'd buy a sword from the people that sell in Ascalon on the trade chat.
I bought a 2K fiery dragon sword... does max damage (15-22) but not many mods.. but its a good start.
Just go for mostly any max damage sword for now. Later in the game start looking for the sword you wanna keep.

That sound's good, but i prefer finding something instead of buying from another player. You never know if you gonna be scammed or not.

I bought the Gladitor Armor set, it look bad, but its a good armor.

I farmed a lot near Piken Square, but didnt find good weapon, just a lot of runes.

So, just going outside alone, should be enough?

Having finished the game once and now going through it again, I tend to dislike comments like that. Don't be scammed. What's a clean max damage sword worth to you? Only offer that much. I've parted with max swords for 500 gold, and Fiery Dragon max swords for like 700 gold. Only offer what you want to pay. Worse that can happen is you don't get it.

Just like the people who laugh at folks who pay 3K or ask a Guild member to run them from Beacon's Perch to Droknars. I think that is an awesome idea. You finished the game once already. The 3K you pay there will save you thousands more in crappy armor upgrades along the way once you get a max set. Plus the collectors in and right outside of Droknars have great max damage weapons that you can use the rest of the game. For 3-4K you saved yourself perhaps tens of thousands.

Just do what you feel is right man. If your Scam Alert goes off, just walk away, but a clean max damage sword now will be much more useful than the stuff you'll find along the way.

From the crafter in Yak's Bend.

The armor is the same is the other you can have in Ascalon, except each piece of the suit give you an energy bonus. Th e whole suit give you +8 energy.

Its easy to not get scammed,

You ask to look at the weapon in the trade window.
Read all the stats.

Trade the money for the weapon, and done.
If they pretend to accidentally cancel the trade, make sure you check the weapon out again, cause some people pull off a switch when they do that.

Other than that, you can't get scammed when trading.

you'll want to watch requirements as well because if you cant fulfill the minimum, then you will be doing sub-par damage with your sword.
